Minnesota Agility Club Membership |
The Minnesota Agility Club membership roster runs from 125 to 150-plus active members. The primary goal of MAC is to promote the sport of Dog Agility. To this end, we provide handlers with the opportunity to learn more about the sport, and we hold events where they can compete. MAC is not affiliated with any training club, nor do we offer training classes. It is also important to note that most MAC events are open to non-members. MAC currently holds 3 USDAA trials, 1 NADAC trial, 1 AKC trial, and 1 CPE trial each year. In most years MAC also hosts a seminar with a speaker knowledgeable in the sport of Dog Agility. Working spots in these seminars are offered to members first, at a discounted price. MAC is a volunteer-run organization, and as such we rely on member labor to make our events happen. All volunteers, whether they are members or not, are eligible to earn vouchers good for entry to MAC shows and events. MAC members who volunteer at MAC shows are eligible for year-end awards celebrating their dog's achievements. MAC Membership
